CONTAINER DELIVERY UPDATE (Jan. 3, 2017):
Our container storage plans for Sailing World Cup Miami have changed. While you can still store containers on site for the duration of the event, they will no longer be stored at the US Sailing Center.
All containers will be stored in a parking lot next to Regatta Park, located on the south side of the fenced-in area of Lot 67, 3381 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133. It can be seen highlighted in yellow on THIS MAP.
Containers can be dropped any time after January 1st, and must be removed by 5pm on January 31st. Please do your best to keep this area organized and free of trash
Once unloaded, boats will need to be moved across Regatta Park and launched from Seminole Boat Ramp. If dropping/unloading before January 18th, all boats must then go to the US Sailing Center after launching, for pre-training. If unloading after January 18th, boats can stay at Regatta Park for training. There is absolutely no training or boat storage allowed at Regatta Park before January 18th.
If your containers are returning to port after unloading, we have a more cost-effective option available in which the containers are brought to our partner warehouse and unloaded there, and then transported to the USSC/Regatta Park via car or flatbed. If you would like this option, we can provide assistance arranging flatbed transport. This will be cheaper than using a crane to unload at the new storage site. This can also be coordinate through Andrew Deltuva (email listed below).
